Support Group Overview
In today’s dynamic financial landscape, many individuals and families are seeking ways to secure their financial future while adhering to their religious beliefs and values. Within the framework of faith-based communities, church finance support groups, often likened to Savings and Credit Cooperative Organizations (SACCOs), play a vital role in empowering members to achieve financial stability and independence. Nairobi Grace Chapel achieves this through Men by design(MBD) support group which is built on the principles of trust, mutual support, and accountability.

Structure and
Functionality of MBD
Similar to traditional SACCOs, MBD operates under a cooperative model, pooling financial resources and offering various services to their members. The membership is interdenominational and heterogeneous to everyone of 18yrs and above with a shared goal of improving their financial well-being
Savings and Investments
Members contribute regular savings, of 500ksh monthly and 150ksh benevolent fund. This pooled capital enables members to access affordable loans for personal or business purposes, thereby stimulating economic growth within the community.
The impact of church finance support groups extends far beyond monetary gains. By promoting financial stability and resilience, these groups contribute to the holistic well-being of their members and the wider community.
